Future Public Speaking Engagements:
March 23, 2010: Mark is an invited speaker at the central coast VINE Symposium. Mark will speak on the subject of vine and fruit physiology and the factors influencing grape maturation.
April 7, 2010: Mark is an invited speaker at the Napa Valley Vineyard Technical Group meeting. Mark will speak on vineyard water management and conservation.
May 14, 2010: Mark is an invited speaker at the Technical Conference for the Anderson Valley Pinot Noir Festival and will speak on a subject TBD.

February 27, 2010:
Mark was an invited speaker for the New Jersey Agricultural Experiment Station's all day Enological and Viticultural symposium entitled "Grape Expectations". Mark spoke on the subject of vine density to a receptive and engaged audience. Wines in New Jersey were quite nice, with a delicate, complex style remeniscent of wines from France and Italy.

February 2010:
Advanced Viticulture is once again teaming up with the Sonoma County Water Agency to conduct a demonstration project aimed at demonstrating ways to conserve water for irrigation, frost protection and cooling. September 2-3, 2009:
Mark was honored to present the 2009 Triggs guest lecture to Ontario, Canada growers and wineries in the Niagara Peninsula. A fascinating growing region of high quality wine grapes.
